Can I insert a blog into my Siteflare?

A blog is simply is a type of website. The word comes from a blend of the term "web log"). Blogs are usually maintained by individuals as opposed to companies, maintaining regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other media such as graphics or video. Most blogs are interactive, allowing visitors to leave comments and even message each other via "widgets" on the blogs and it is this interactivity that distinguishes them from other static websites.

So... can I insert a blog into my Siteflare?

People don't normally insert a blog into their website, they add a blog alongside their website. Therefore, if your website sells nuts and bolts, it would normally be an online e-commerce website cataloguing your products and allowing visitors to browse and purchase online. If you chose to add a blog to your website its purpose would be to chat to the world about the nuts and bolts industry, who's who, what's what and interesting things that are happening in the world of nuts and bolts. Because the functions of the website and the blog are inherently different, keeping them distinctly apart makes perfect sense. A blog is chatty, informal, often humourous and invites comments from its readers, an e-commerce website selling nuts and bolts is clearly not suited to that approach.

Therefore, to add a blog to your existing website or Siteflare, you would simply have your design or template include a button somewhere on the menu saying "Blog" and that would be enough for most people to understand that "this link will take me to their blog, which a different type of website to the one I am currently on but is still run by the same company or an individual in that company".

So, the answer to your question is... YES!
