Does your HP Director program not start?
If youíve recently upgraded to the new Internet Explorer 7 (IE7), and you have a Hewlett Packard scanner or printer/scanner, then you will almost certainly be experiencing problems with starting it.
However, we have a workaround for you here! Just follow these very simple steps to get around the problem:
- After double-clicking on the HP Director icon, nothing appears to happen... the program is starting normally, but itís hiding.
- Wait a few seconds, then hold down the ALT key and press the space bar. A small dialogue box will appear.
- Click on Minimize (you may have to click twice)
- Voila! the HP Director task will appear in the task bar at the bottom of the screen - click it, and the program will appear and work normally.
